> (Is there a good program to test your RAM for Linux?)
I use one called memtest that sits as an entry in /etc/lilo.conf as an
extra option. If I choose that option, the machine goes into a high
intensity memory test sequence that is supposedly guaranteed to find
memory that's even slightly failing, never mind failed...
Try the following for it...
ftp://contrib.redhat.com/libc5/i386/memtest86-1.4.1.i386.rpm
ftp://contrib.redhat.com/libc5/SRCMS/memtest86-1.4.1.src.rpm
Best wishes from Riley.
