I am also running this configuration. 3Com 3000 switch. I am unable to
keep the machines up for more than a few minutes with busmastering
enabled (2.0.25 kernel. 0.45 driver). I had to alter the source to
allow me to switch busmastering off and tehn everything works fine ..

I have NFS going in most directions seemingly OK, but will check it out
now that you raise the question.
