Plea: re-indent the kernel source

With all the patching that has been going on, much of the kernel source code
indenting is really messed up.

Linus, I plead for you to start the next major release (2.1.0??) with
everything re-indented. I suggest using gnu-indent with the "-kr" option
as closest to your preferred style.
And, yes, the Great Implementor made tab stops every 8 characters, but 8 is
just TOO BIG for indentation. Your point about limiting nesting level to
about 3 is generally valid, but there are _lots_ of places in the Linux
kernel where the nexting level is higher than that (bdflush is one of these).
So I'd request using just plain "-kr" rather than "-kr -i8".

I find that often I need to run a module through indent to fix up the
indentation so that I can read/understand it, but diff/patch will go wild if
I leave it that way in submitting or applying patches.
