Hello all,
Im trying to use sunrpc within ny kernel module. Im running
Mandrake 7.0 with kernel version 2.2.14, with the

linux-2.2.14-nfsv3-0.20.10.dif.bz2 patch.

Im want to timeout my rpc client procedure if the server side
procedure takes too long to respond or if the network is dead. Im having a
interrupt routine that sets the clnt->cl_dead to 1, hoping that the rpc
task scheduler will shut that task an my procedure shall return. But this
is not happening. Is there any other way I can do the same.

                TIA,
                        P.Basker
