Thanks for responding.

I don't have aztcd, teles ISD driver, depca network driver, in2000. I am not
running ufs. I do have a floppy and of course I do use filesystems (ext2,
msdos, vfat). Here's what's turned on in /usr/src/linux/.config:

CONFIG_MODULES=y
CONFIG_NET=y
CONFIG_PCI=y
CONFIG_SYSVIPC=y
CONFIG_BINFMT_AOUT=y
CONFIG_BINFMT_ELF=y
CONFIG_KERNEL_ELF=y
CONFIG_M586=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_FD=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP=y
CONFIG_INET=y
CONFIG_IP_NOSR=y
CONFIG_SKB_LARGE=y
CONFIG_SCSI=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD=y
CONFIG_CHR_DEV_ST=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SR=y
CONFIG_SCSI_CONSTANTS=y
CONFIG_SCSI_AIC7XXX=y
CONFIG_NETDEVICES=y
CONFIG_PPP=y
CONFIG_MINIX_FS=y
CONFIG_EXT2_FS=y
CONFIG_FAT_FS=y
CONFIG_MSDOS_FS=y
CONFIG_VFAT_FS=y
CONFIG_PROC_FS=y
CONFIG_ISO9660_FS=y
CONFIG_SERIAL=y
CONFIG_PRINTER=y
CONFIG_SOUND=y

Hardware is:
AMI Atlas II PCI motherboard
32 MB 60ns non-parity RAM
133MHz Pentium Processor
Adaptec AHA2940 PCI SCSI host adapter
Gravis UltraSound MAX (512k)> at 0x220 irq 12 dma 6,7
Number 9 Motion 771 PCI Video Card
NO ethernet card (PPP only)
IBM DPES-31080 1GB SCSI II hard drive
MAXTOR LXT-340S 330MB SCSI 1 hard drive
TOSHIBA 3601 SCSI II CDROM
ARCHIVE/CONNER Python 28388-XXX SCSI II DAT drive

Hope this helps. BTW, .99 has now been running here for 12 hours or so and SO
FAR, I have not seen any re-occurrance of the problem.

Thanks...

Michael
