No error messages nor oopses but the memory corruption problem persists.

2.2.14pre15 + ide-2.2.14pre15.fix4:
hdparm -m16 -u1 /dev/hda : memory corruption
hdparm -m0 -u1 /dev/hda : fine
hdparm -m16 -u0 /dev/hda : fine
2.2.13:
hdparm -m16 -u1 /dev/hda : fine
