Since 2.3.26 ( maybe from 2.3.24 but I can't remember )
my external serial modem wasn't capable of hang-up anymore.

Investigating a bit I've noticed that :

o booting 2.3.26 with serial driver compiled in turn up RX and TX led of my modem
o booting 2.3.26 with serial.o as a module was fine and I can hang-up line again
o no problem with 2.2.13 of course

Follow my environment:

Serial driver version 4.30 with SHARE_IRQ SERIAL_PCI PCI_IOMEM enabled
ttyS00 at 0x03f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
ttyS01 at 0x02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A
