Here's some info:
The Machine has 2 IDE Controllers on the Motherboard. The first
controller has 2 EIDE HDDs on it and the second has 2 EIDE CD-ROMS (1
34x CDROM DRIVE, 1 CDRW DRIVE).
HDA is the older drive that works fine
HDB is the newer drive that doesn't
