I gave a try to 2.2.10-ac10 and noticed the folowing results using
iozone :
2.2.10-ac10 client (P133) / 2.2.10-ac4 server (PII 400) :
~/iozone/iozone-2.2.5-ac1 200 8192 zz
IOZONE performance measurements:
4472493 bytes/second for writing the file
2511258 bytes/second for reading the file
2.2.10-ac4 client (PII 400) / 2.2.10-ac10 server (P133) :
~/iozone/iozone-2.2.5-ac1 200 8192 zz
IOZONE performance measurements:
2659672 bytes/second for writing the file
3279874 bytes/second for reading the file
==========================================================================
2.2.10-ac4 client (P133) / 2.2.10-ac4 server (PII 400)
IOZONE performance measurements:
6808935 bytes/second for writing the file
3734245 bytes/second for reading the file
2.2.10-ac4 client (PII 400) / 2.2.10-ac4 server (P133) :
IOZONE performance measurements:
4310692 bytes/second for writing the file
4337439 bytes/second for reading the file

That is, 2.2.10-ac10 performs really slowly as server and client
compared to 2.2.10-ac4 (both are running RH 6.0/knfsd 1.4.1).
Any comment/explanation ?
