Hi again,

Sigh ... just checked: I see there is no gcc package for RH 5.2 / Alpha.
So I assume that egcs-1.0.3a is supposed to be suitable for kernel
compiling. Are the egcs / kernel problems only related to Linux 2.0.x
and/or Intel CPU's ?

So I reissue my original bug-report !
