info on writing scsi device driver?

i and a couple others are working on writing a scsi driver for the emulex
lp6000 FC card. we've got the docs for the card, however, we haven't found
much for writing to the linux scsi interface. we're making progress by
staring at other drivers, but i'd like to have something else to make sure
we're not making any dumb mistakes. anyone got any good pointers/info on
writing a low level driver?
