Hello ppl,
sometimes my hard disk, stop responding and I get the error message:

hda: irq timeout: status=0x50 {DriveReady SeekComplete }.

After that, the only thing I can do is to reboot my box. I have Slackware
3.5 installed, and I am using kernel 2.0.35. My hdd is a Quantum Fireball
5.1 EL. This problem is most common, when I try to access a windows
partition. I would be gratefull if you could help me.
Is there any way to disable UDMA? I think that this might be the
solution to my problem.

Thnx in advance.
