I was having a similar problem with a 3c905b card running under the same
driver. I grabbed the development/testing driver, which is version .99G
from Donald Becker's site a couple days ago and have had MUCH better
results. It's still throwing more errors than it should be, but it's far
fewer than the .99E driver was. It's actually usable under the .99G
driver.
