SCSI misconfig causes panic?

If a SCSI bus is (mis)configured so that one of the devices on the
bus has the same ID as the SCSI adapter, I don't expect it to work.
But neither to I expect it to panic, which it did for me. :-(

Specifics: AHA-1522 (also an AVA-1515, same results); only things
on the bus were an IBM SCSI tape drive (ID 7 -- oops!) and a CD-ROM.
