Can you tell whether the file is actually reclaimable at that point, though?
If I:
mount -o remount,ro /
mount -o remount,rw /
after modifying libc.so or ld.so.cache, etc., the still in-use libc.so would
be deleted at that point according to your statement above... and init & co.
would likely crash.
