Additional info on that patch:
it will add c and n to the sysrq options. they are current and new
password. When the console is locked, the system will run normally, but
no input will be taken besides the password followed by the enter key. be
careful of stuck alt or printscreen keys and don't lock it without a
password, as you will have to either telnet in or do a physical reset to
get the console back
