This is a bit off-topic I would say, but nonetheless, I believe that it
is not Linus himself, but the collective, that meets this qualification.
You could point your finger to Linus for starting it all, but then, I
doubt that he actually intended it or even imagined that it would turn
out like this. Additionally, there is quite a long way to go before
`heroic' proportions have been reached.
