how about /dev/dsk/h0c0t0u0p2? lose the sd_. it doesn't buy you anything.
ide drives are done differently anyways.
I'd rather keep the "sd_". What if some other disk device shows up for which
the h0c0... naming would also be perfectly appropriate? We'd either have to
create a different directory, or make a gratuitously identification string.
