Yea! It happened on the quitest system to date. I was simply sitting
there on my couch reading email in emacs (mh) Nothing was swapped
out. Nothing else was going on.
I also see what you mean that a machine can stay up for quite a long
time after the dcache is corrupt. As I am writing this email I have
been up and running doing email and such for more than 20 minutes
since the first message.
