Datapoint: 2.0.30pre2 + July 17 buffer patch locks userspace-solid (can
still ping) on a P166 w/256MB of RAM, DE500 ethernet controller (100bT
mode) and dual BT-948 SCSI controllers within two minutes of bootup.
No log message was generated (using a serial console and I wasn't
watching).
This machine is a news server with many feeds both incoming and outgoing,
and has been running 2.0.30 for many moons now with no mishaps.
