Hi to every body!

We have a Gigabyte 486er PCI mainboard with a Cyrix 486DXII (80/40) and
an AWARD BIOS in one off our computers installed.

Since the introdution off the "bios boot" (reboot=bios) kerneloption in
2.0.22 up (is that right?) and sysvinit-2.69 our machine can reboot
remote or from the console prompt without pressing the reset bottom.
This is currently true for kernel release 2.0.30 .

We are very happy about that :-)

So our problem is, that the machine can't reboot with 2.1.x inclusive
2.1.36 any more :-(

Any help is welcome
