Hmmm, I'd prefer it if you did have some comment(s). I ran into this
problem talking to our gw which runs SCO 3.4.2.4 - the SCO box actually
totally hangs up (yea, I know ...). Oddly enough the problem only manifests
itself when I ftp to the box from home via PPP or ftp from the SCO box to my
box via PPP. Ftp'ing to other boxes doesn't appear to be problematic and
connection via ethernet does not exhibit this problem at all.
BTW, your patch "fixed" the problem :)
