Its all a matter of degrees of accuracy. As far as Linux is concerned
its mostly about

Can it support 4Mb pages
Does it have high resolution timers
Should code be long word aligned
Should code be 16 byte aligned
Can it do WBINVLD invalidation

Ultimately the answers for the Cyrix dont fit either 386,486,pentium,ppro

Its a different chip, and eventually needs a different configure option
and the specific cyrix support adding.
