Oops with 2.0.11

I am using kernel 2.0.11 on an RedHat 3.0.3 system (with upgrades). It
has been acting kind of funny. It is a Pentium 90 with an EISA/PCI
motherboard, 128M RAM, EISA 3c509 net card, and Adaptec 1542. This
machine is a shell account/web server. When this happened, there was
only one other user logged in reading news (light load). I got the
