To make it clearer: The kernel always fails, not only from time to
time. 1.3.68 works; therefore I guess it's not my partition.
I have also sucessfully compiled 1.3.71 with gcc-2.6.3 on an other
machine. The failing machine has gcc-2.5.8. I'll include the .config;
maybe it's related with it.
