Updating Configure.help

Hi everyone,

you've probably all noticed the file Documentation/Configure.help
which contains the help texts for the kernel config options used by
the various configure scripts. Whenever you add a new config option,
please take a minute to add an entry to Configure.help as well. A
couple of things to keep in mind:

* The lines should be shorter than 70 characters, because menuconf
likes it that way.

* Keep it simple, explain your acronyms, and give a "safe" value for
those people who don't know what they are doing. Generally, the
audience I have in mind consists of intelligent but ignorant new
users who recompile the kernel for the first time.

* Don't be afraid to repeat things that have already been said in
other help texts: the texts are not meant to be read in sequence.

* Technical information or stuff that's too long for a help text
should go into a README in the Documentation directory.

* Please include pointers to all relevant HOWTOs or kernel source
READMEs.

I'll continue spell-checking the file every once in a while, check the
URLs, and fill in config options that slipped through, but obviously,
I'd prefer it if every developer could take care of the texts for
their own options. Thanks everyone.

And now for the off-topic part: the GNU-Linux debate. "Why can't we
all just get a lawn?" I.e. let's all go out and buy a "Linux: the
choice of a GNU generation" t-shirt. Then, whenever someone asks us
about it, we can tell them not only the story about the Finnish
student and his virtual beers, but also the one about the MIT hacker
and his dream. Changing the name of the baby goes a little bit too
far for my taste, mostly because the current name is so much sexier
than the proposed alternatives.

Cheers,
Axel
