1) It didn't appear to be in GZIP form - it was plain text. (This might have been Netscape 2.0's fault.)
2) Two "hunks" failed:
linux-1.3.68/include/linux/blkdev.h.rej
linux-1.3.68/drivers/net/ni65.c.rej
Patch reports version 2.1.
Hmmm.... I've just though - I dragged the patch over via NFS... maybe I've been bitten by the NFS bug that
got me before. I shall reextract the 1.3.68 source and copy the file over, then apply it... (These hunks
were both in the middle of the patch, so I think this is an unlikely cause.)
Until the 1.3.6x series, I'd never had a patch fail to apply clean...
