aic7xxx + apmbios

I had reported some problems with the AIC7xxx, APM BIOS 1.0 and the
APM support in Linux. The kernel panic'd with Aiee: Scheduling in
interrupt during initialization of the SCSI driver.

Almost the very same configuration works with APM BIOS 1.1. Maybe
there's something wrong with APM BIOS 1.0?

BTW: "a battery status of unknown is reported as 65535%. Wouldn't
100% be enough (assuming there wouldn't be any output without power)
