I ran into a problem using the 1.3.68 kernel. I compiled it with
network support (just "normal" no fancy things like ip_masq), but I
was unable to set my network correct. I set ifconfig to my ethernetcard
and routed it to the other pc . But every time I tried pinging it
produced no result. Sometimes I got the message "network socket
delayed" or something like that.
I am now back on 1.2.13 and all is running fine with the same configs.
