1.3.68 BUG REPORT

Hello all,
My first bug report and first workaround. Oh joy.

Upon getting and compiling 1.3.68, I did the usual steps, and rebooted.
Upon logging in, I found the space bar has been nullified from providing
keyboard input.

My workaround until a more exact fix can be put in place:

The first time you need a "space" character, hit the shift+space-bar.
After that, the space bar returns to its normal operation....

Just in case...
Im running a Gateway P100, all IDE, no SCSI, with 24meg ram, 16 megs swap
Triton motherboard (thats another story), with gcc2.7.0, and the rest in ELF
mode.
