I've made the code for the resource management API, that I proposed
recently on linux-kernel, available on my web page at
http://www.magi.com/~dmtech/pnp/

There is a bit of hacking neccessary to use it with a kernel
(it should be doable with ANY kernel version). I'll upload
a patch file for the latest 1.3.* kernel as soon as I'm able.
