I'm not sure what the deal is, not having seen your patches. I'm sure
they are of good quality. I spoke with Linus at Usenix and I got the
impression he is swamped with all the patches that he gets. I can
imagine that it is a full time job to study and integrate each patch.
I can also imagine that some stuff takes priority over other stuff,
so it is possible that your stuff is in the queue. Finally, I've been
dealing with Linus for a year or two now, and I have found it to be a
far more pleasant experience than dealing with SunSoft's architecture
old boys network (I used work there and I wouldn't go back for a million
dollars a day), the *BSD teams (great people but they all want to be
the chief and that doesn't work), etc. So quit if you want, but please
don't cop a negative attitude about Linus - I've been in this business
for years and he's the most reasonable OS person I've ever dealt with.
