1.3.39 and umsdos partitions

Hi all,
I have just compiled 1.3.39 for my machines. One of them has Linux on a
umsdos filesystem and the new kernel sees it (at booting) as *readonly*.
I'm using loadlin with rw enabled and this problem didn't happen with
1.3.37. (1.3.38 has the same problem) Any ideas?
