Just joined this list so excuse the post if not appropriate. Have a
question about Apple file system stuff. I have a MAC user that is really
excited that she can now access a color printer from her machine without
having to go throug a lot of hassles by moving her machine around the
department and physically hooking it in. I 'had' this set up and all
seemed fine until (I know...if it ain't broke, don't fix it) I upgraded
the kernel once too often. Up until kernel 1.3.18, all seemed to work
just fine. I upgraded to 1.3.23 and BOOM!!! The system crashed as soon
as the apple daemons started. This happend with further upgrade to
1.3.30 which I am currently at. Any suggestions as to what went wrong?
If I boot an old kernel (1.3.18 or below) the apple stuff works just great.
