Support for (E)IDE DMA modes?

Is anyone working on support for the (E)IDE DMA transfer modes? I've
noticed that hdparm -i knows about these modes, but I don't see any
code in ide.c for DMA. What are the issues with adding this support
to the IDE drivers?
