Just a quick message. I have two machines which compiled the new kernel
without incident. One machine not running with SCSI drivers
boots up & performs well. The other, using an Adaptec 1542CF with three
SCSI drives leaves a single letter 'd' at the upper left hand of the
screen when it tries to boot. I haven't had time to investigate further.
