[2.6.10-rc2] Freeze after Suspend To RAM

Hello,

below is a detailed description of my problem and my hardware
environment. It was written some months ago but it has become worse with
kernel 2.6.10-rc2, and now I do not longer suspect USB or ACPI system.
It must be some kernel issue.

History:
2.6.4 - 2.6.5: APM and ACPI work fine, STR whenever I want
2.6.6-preX - 2.6.9: Freeze on resuming, with APM and ACPI. Cause not obvious,
later I discovered that I have to remove all USB devices when resuming,
or stop hotplug before suspending (and restart later)
2.6.10-rc2: Same symptoms as with 2.6.6..2.6.9 but WORSE now. The
kernels _always_ dies on resume. Also showing "Linu******" and hangs
then. Detaching USB/Firewire devices does not help, only cold reboot
does :(
