From: Tomasz Torcz
Date: Thu Aug 19 2004 - 12:52:27 EST

Hi,

My flopped disappeared with this kernel becaouse of ACPI. It was
working earlier revisions. Modprobing floppy.ko fails:

(in dmesg)
#v+
inserting floppy driver for 2.6.8.1-mm2
floppy: controller ACPI FDC0 at I/O 0x3f7-0x3f7 irq 6 dma channel 2
Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M
floppy0: Floppy io-port 0x03f7 in use
#v-

I am sending couple of files as report, please ping me if more
information is needed.

** PCI interrupts are no longer routed automatically. If this

** please email the output of "lspci" to bjorn.helgaas@xxxxxx
