test2-pre10, unable to mount zip drive

Hi,

Like with some 'ac' patches, I cannot mount my zip drive with test2-pre10.

The messages are :

[root@f5ibh] ~ # mount /dev/zip /mnt/
mount: you must specify the filesystem type

[root@f5ibh] ~ # mount /dev/zip /mnt/ -t ext2
mount: /dev/zip has wrong major or minor number

and in the syslog :

Jun 22 15:26:10 f5ibh modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module block-major-8

The zip is a parallel port ZIP 100. I use the ppa driver. It works fine with
2.2.16 (and was working fine with 2.4.0-test1-ac3).
