Ah. The problem is when you VT switch you are switching the video hardware
to full MMIO/DMA PCI graphics card to VGA legacy mode. I have heard of DRI
having problems with this. Either disable VT switching in the X server
configuration or don't VT switch. I know not a great solution. Its going
to be awhile before linux handles graphics resources right :-(

Q: Why did they deprecate a.out support in linux?
A: Because a nasty coff is bad for your elf.
