Doesn't handle the 32-bit Xserver on 64-bit kernel issue though. If I
want this to work for 2.2.x (which lacks mmap64) as well as 2.4.x
then the way to hide all of these details is to mmap on the device.

Or we could use a pciconfig_mmap which could deal with all the
details as well.

To the point, I'd like it if we all could agree to adopt something
which addresses everyone's known concerns. Just like we did for
the pci DMA mapping infrastructure. :-)
