Hi
I just have a quick question, I can get a the 2.2.16-14 kernel to compile
but when I type make install sometime later I get
------------------------------------------------------------
sh -x ./install.sh 2.2.16 bzImage /usr/src/linux/System.map ""
+ [ -x /sbin/installkernel ]
+ exec /sbin/installkernel 2.2.16 bzImage /usr/src/linux/System.map
open /boot/initrd-2.2.14-14smp.img: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [install] Error 2
------------------------------------------------------------
I cant figure out how to fix this any idea
the machine was running 2.2.12-20smp
the machine is a dell 2300 dual 400
512mb of ram 25GB of raid 5,
any help would be appreciated
