I am told he has been saying such things to that guy for 6 months plus.
Otherwise I would agree with you.
If my words help him to not wait another 6 months, well, that is my objective
here. That and to suggest that our community needs to establish norms which
prevent this from happening to others. I fully understand that you yourself are
swamped, but surely the kernel subsystem maintainers are not if they choose to
not be.
