No the HPT366 is fine, how ABIT used it was incorrect.

The only question I have is the accurate detection of 76.86GB drives that
are not on the market yet. The CMD BIOS has been known in the past to not
get it correct, but I am working with CMD to correct this issue.

It should be noted that all known and tested HOST adapters have a 64GB bug
in accurate detection. Many get it wrong, but only in reporting it in the
BIOS display.
