UDMA controller flaws?

The HPT366 has known design flaws[1]. An unfortunate choice of chipset by
Abit for the BP6.

The PDC20262 works well with all drives I have tested with.

Does the CMD648 have any known flaws? I am considering the Asus CUBX[2]
motherboard which has onboard CMD648.
