Hello,

Linux 2.2.15 froze solid after the upgrade to 2.2.15 last
night. Everything was working fine up to the point when
there was an incoming call and pppd was started. At that
point the system locked up completely.

The last message I got in the system logs reads:
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual
address 0000000b.

The box is a Compaq Proliant 2500 server with 2 PPro CPU's,
there is an Equinox SST64 PCI board in it and i'm using the
3.3.6 version of the equinox linux driver compiled as a
module, pppd version 2.3.11.

If there is more information required i'll be more than happy
to provide it.

thanks in advance.

Ralf
