If you try with large window support OFF, and then try again with it ON,
you should see a difference in the number of packets dropped (if any).

Also, I'd try a different type of NIC. Do you have another 100Mbit/sec
card around? (one that is NOT related to the current one in any way)

That would rule out bugs in the NIC driver (someone else suggested it
could be falsely reporting collisions - try "ifconfig", see if that
indicates any. There shouldn't be, on a full duplex link...)
