In article <Pine.LNX.4.10.10004140101580.18962-100000@keithu-pc> you write:

I have 3 SMP machines here and I saw the problem on all of them.

The 2xP-200 runs kernel 2.2.14 with Reiserfs and LVM and IDE patches.
The 2xCeleron-466 runs 2.2.15pre19 with Reiserfs (latest pre) and
  one IDE disk.
The 2xCeleron-500 runs 2.2.15pre19 with Reiserfs and two SCSI disks.

The "Stuck" message seems to appear only during heavy disk or network
activity.

Since the message only appears in the Reiserfs, we know the culprit ;-)
