I rebooted my machine before I left my office yesterday...

10:54 [lech(q1)$/home/lech7] last -1 reboot
reboot system boot 2.3.99-pre4-5-a Mon Apr 17 20:25 (14:30)

...left it running without X until I logged in this morning...

10:54 [lech(q1)$/home/lech7] last -1 lech7
lech7 tty1 Tue Apr 18 10:54 still logged in
