XFS integration plans?

I know this has been covered before, so I apologize for bringing it up
again.

But there are at least 4 log structured filesystems that are nearing
completion and while I'm fairly certain that none of them will be ready
for the 2.4.0 release are there plans to integrate one of them in to a
2.4.x release down the road?

It kind of goes against the policy of adding a lot of new stuff to a
stable kernel but there seems to be some demand and the filesystems are
starting to look respectable. I've got a product that will *need* a log
structured filesystem (probably XFS) and we've been aiming at building
it around a 2.4 kernel and we're trying to formulate plans of attack,
we'd like to run with as stock a kernel as possible.

Has XFS integration been brought up before? Is SGI going down the
proper course or will there be this big debate when it comes time to
integrate because they screwed up all the interfaces?

thanks,
Ian Nelson
